Pumpkin Vine Halloween Nail Art

Hey everyone! 

I have to say I don't know if I did the right decision rounding off my nails. I did it since my were starting to break a bit more now I'm working on other peoples nail a lot but I'll stick with it because I loved it once I can love it again. 

I did this pumpkin design I hope it resembles a pumpkin...I don't think I've painted the vines before but I quite like it. :] 

I have two pumpkins to carve this year, a little one and a HUGE one. I don't like to eat pumpkin though. :[

Halloween Skull Ghosty Ghouls

Hey everyone! 

Another Halloween design for you lovely people. I really like how this turned out, I was going to give the ghosts/skeletons mouths and they would have definitely looked like skeletons but I liked how they looked actually so decided to leave them as they were. 

I love the background for this as well. To do this I did the technique were you dip a cotton bud into some nail polish remover, then into your polish and then onto your nail. Although I didn't want it that sheer to ended up using a dotting tool as well to dot some of the colours on. 

Ghosts...skeletons...who knows.

Scary pumpkin for Halloween

Hey everyone! 

One of my favourite times in the year is Fall/Halloween. I find it so much fun, with all the spooky decorations, pumpkins and the crunchy leaves falling off the trees. OH! and being able to wear wooly hats and scarves! 

But it's also one of my favourite times to do nail art. I don't think I'm going to be able to do as many as I am working now but I'm going to try because I seriously love doing them at this time.

Nail Art Dolphin Water Decal Review

Hey everybody! 

Today I wanted to share these cute dolphin nail art water decals. I'm rather getting into decals now, I said before I found them kind of tough to make work but a little practice and I'm well away now.

They are from the Born Pretty Store. I applied mine over this beautiful base from Sally Hansen called 'Sparkling Water' I thought it went perfect with the Dolphins. I picked black and white Dolphins but they also come in blue and pink.

To apply them you simply cut out the Dolphin you want, pick it up with a pair of tweezers, submerge it in water for 10 seconds and them the design will slide off and you can then apply it to your nail and seal it in with your favourite top coat.

Doctor Who Nail Art - Robot of Sherwood

Hey everyone! 

Reviewing these awesome little heart decorations for you today. They are from the 

Born Pretty Store. For the base I applied a pale pink almost white polish and then used watered down acrylic paint to create those pink splashes you see, kind of how I did in my watercolour style design. 

I then applied my favourite top coat and added on these adorable little love hearts. They are so girly and looked rather glam for me since I don't wear gems much because I'm afraid they will fall off but these did not. As long as you push firmly down and add a second layer of top coat over them you should be fine.

BP Blue Flower Decal Review

Good evening you glittery beasts! 

I bring you a review on these flower decals from Born Pretty, use code KEX31 to get 10% off your orders. The only kind of 'decal' I've tried in the past is temporary tattoos haha. But I gave these a go and I was very pleased with them. I put the decals over a blue base from Barry M called Cyan Blue. 

To get the decals onto your nails is the same process as a tattoo. I had no issues applying these, you just have to be delicate once you have wet them otherwise it could fold in on itself but I used tweezers to reduce the risk of this happening. Once decals are on, I applied my favourite top coat and it was ready to go.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

Hey glitterpops! 

Today I bring you a Sin City design...in all it's black and white loveliness. I remember the first Sin City coming out, think I was 13. I haven't been able to see the second one yet but I want too. I haven't been hearing the greatest of things about it, but well I'm not one to see or not see a film based on other people reviews. 

This design was fun to create and I always jump at the chance to splatter paint on myself. The only part I still don't like doing to much is writing. This is when I appreciate acrylic paint because I must have washed the writing off about 5 times if not more, that's me trying to make it perfect which with this it actually did not need to be. 

I've been enjoying doing more movie designs, recently I've done Planet of the Apes, TMNT and now Sin City so I will try my best to keep up to date with upcoming movies. :]

Happy 23rd Birthday To Me!

Hey Glitterpops. Today was my 23rd Birthday, I don't know about other people but I always feel a bit iffy at first when my age turns to an odd number...anyone else....hopefully not just me.

I had a lovely day, me and my partner went to see Guardians of the Galaxy which was awesome! I may have shed a tear towards the end, which sucks since I just cried at Doctor Who yesterday. Then on the evening we went for a nice meal, I had something called a Chicken Melt and for pud I had a chocolate sponge cake that had this gooey melted chocolate in the middle, so yummy. 

Something I would like to do before my next Birthday is to start a YouTube channel. I have been debating with this for probably two years on and off. I've been so nervous about it but with me about to start my own business as a nail technician which is already a huge deal for me and a scary thing to do, if I can do that then starting a channel cannot be as scary I hope.

Hey everyone! As I write this there is about half an hour before the new series of Doctor Who starts and we get to see our new Doctor. It's my Birthday tomorrow but I've been more excited about this haha.

Today I did a water colour type design, I used the technique I guess you would call it of dipping a cotton bud into nail polish remover and then into nail polish. When you go to dab it on your nail it makes this lovely design, it looks even better when you use two or more colours.

Game of Hearthstone anybody?

Hey everyone, if you like card game then you most likely have heard of Hearthstone. I've never been into cards other than collecting Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! ones haha, but I do play World of Warcraft so I heard about Hearthstone through that and I love it! I'm not the greatest player by any means I just find it enjoyable....slightly frustrating at times too, not gonna lie. 

After that ramble about that, of course you can see why I decided to do a Hearthstone design. I tried to do this a couple of days ago but I got a bit lazy which is my own fault for trying at 11pm at night! So I tried again today and I am much happier with the outcome.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Who else like me is really excited about seeing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes? You might have already you lucky thing, I'm hopefully going to next week! 

But I wanted to create a design for it, I didn't want to look to much into it because I don't want the film spoiled for me so I created this by checking out the awesome posters advertising the film and this is how it turned out. Apes are not the easiest thing to try and paint.

Holographic Nail Deco

Doesn't this fairy silhouette looks like she's up for a fight haha. Anywho, the fairy I like but today I want to give a quick review on the holographic nail gems/decorations. I've been looking for just some round holo decorations for a while but you either didn't get much or they were quite thick so I managed to catch them on things after a manicure. 

These ones are from Born Pretty and so far I really like them. They managed to stick to my nails well and I haven't been easy on them, I generally forget what is on my nails anyway so it was nice to see even being heavy handed they stay. If you use any sort of gem like these I recommend applying them when you apply your top coat and work quite quickly to put them on. I use a wooden hoof stick and gently push them down to ensure their flat to reduce the chance of any falling off and then I'll apply a second topcoat layer.

I think because the colours are generally red, white and blue and I really enjoy doing designs with those colours. I thought that Captain America was a nice thing to add although I think I could have made the blue a tiny bit bigger.

First Entry and Pastel Leopard Print

Hello fellow beings, I made a blogger account...should I have, I don't know! I just thought that I don't really have anywhere to babble on sometimes.
